How it works: 
Our virtual tastings encourage clients, teams and friends to enjoy a memorable wine-tasting experience from anywhere in the world. We support you in the planning and follow up of your event, delivering you the perfect platform to engage and socialise with your guests. 
 
Each guest is delivered a delicious hamper of cheese and wine, packed carefully to include both four half-bottles for the event, and a full bottle to enjoy later. Your host will guide you through the tasting of the wine and cheeses, all in a fun, engaging and educational manner, where everyone is involved regardless of prior wine knowledge. 
 
All tasting boxes come with a selection of premium cheeses and a fifth Gift Bottle which guests will enjoy at a later date to refresh the event in their minds. 
 
This all starts at £150 per head with a minimum spend of £2,000 but can be supercharged for £200 per head with a minimum spend of £2,500.

FAQs 
How do they work? 
Before we can start we need you to provide us contact details for all the guests. We then send out the wines and cheeses, beautifully packaged with tasting notes and quiz sheets, drop stops, corkscrews and glass markers to arrive in good time for your event. 
 
We suggest running the tastings on Zoom and we manage this for you. We can also use Teams and other platforms.

We taste 4 half bottles, with one full bottle as a gift to enjoy after the event. 
What does the event cover? 
We make these tastings into events by keeping them light-hearted, interesting, inclusive and fun. During the tasting we will cover:

How to match food with wine 
How to store and decant wine 
What temperature to serve wine 
 
….. and many other topics too, not limited to, but to include, ‘can I still drink this wine that I have had hidden in my cupboard under the stairs for five years?’ 
How long does it last? 
The tasting lasts just over an hour. This allows me to run through four wines. It gives us time to taste them properly, ask and answer questions and tell a story or two. Guests can then leave without feeling rude and those who want to stay and chat can do so. Your host can stay on to field questions for a while then leave the call open for you and your guests to stay on and enjoy finishing the wines and cheeses together. 
 
We have 3 slots per day from Monday through to Thursday which are 16h30, 18h00 and 19h30. 
What are ideal numbers? 
Ideal numbers for the Virtual tasting are between 15 and 1500 and the way we manage the tastings varies to suit this. With larger numbers, we will use break-out rooms during the tasting to allow all guests to take part and feel the inclusiveness of the event. Your host will then spend time in each breakout room to ensure interaction with all guests. 
 
For numbers over 150 the event becomes less interactive and morphs in to more of a presentation. We have done and can do events for 300 people plus and keep these as interactive as possible using the ‘chat’ room. 
How much does it cost? 
(All prices quoted EX VAT) 
For our standard event, with great wines, the price per head is £150 with a minimum spend of 2000. 
 
For our supercharged event with excellent, boutique wines, the price per head is £200 with a minimum spend of 2500. 
 
A non-refundable deposit starts at £1000, to secure the booking and the balance is invoiced out the day after the event and is payable within 7 days. 
 
All prices include 4 half bottles of wine, a 5th gift bottle, 3 cheeses, crackers and Jam as well as postage. 
 
We do not ship outside of the UK, but should you have guests in Europe, we can discuss options with you, such as theming the wines around a European Domaine. 
How do i get started? 
Once the date is secured and the budget finalised, we send an agreement for signature, together with the deposit invoice and attendee details list for the courier. 
 
You return the list of names to us 3 full weeks prior to the event, and we send out the wine in good time, to arrive around 3-5 days prior to the event. 
 
When we receive the attendee details from you, we send out the Zoom link, quiz sheets and virtual tasting guidelines, for you to share with your guests. 
 
Then we are all set to go! 
What’s in the box? 
We are obsessed with making these tastings brilliant, so we make the contents of the box and the presentation nothing short of excellent. Each box is beautifully presented to include a corkscrew, a stop drop, four tasting identifiers and wines/cheeses as below: 
 
Standard event – 4 bottles of wine that are really good quality. Expect a Cremant de Bourgogne or equivalent and classic wines with real character including examples your guests will probably not have tasted before. We include 4 half bottles for the tasting and 1 full bottle gift We include 3 delicious cheeses to compliment the wines, crackers and a relish. 
 
Supercharged – 4 bottles that are even better than the ‘standard’ category, the real crème de la creme, and of course we include the three cheeses, biscuits and relish too. (we send an additional Gift bottle of wine to each guest, that has been carefully selected to come into its own 6 months after the event, to be opened and enjoyed as a reminder of the great event they enjoyed with you. This includes bespoke tasting notes. The gift wine is the nicest of the half bottles we send out. Should you wish to include Grand Cru Classes and equivalents we can do this too. 
Can we add food? 
Yes, we include three carefully selected cheeses in each box to match the wines and the theme. We also include delicious crackers and relish together with tasting notes on the cheeses. 
We can provide Gluten-free biscuits and adapt or swap the cheeses to cater for dietary requirements and preferences.
